Day 4?

Ok, so it is our last morning in NYC and I was allowed to sleep in till 9am. We get to the airport and through security by 11:40. Our flight leaves at 1:40. When the flight was schedule to take off the ticket agents stopped the plane because we had more passengers on it than tickets sold for it. After a 30 minute delay we are off. I am sitting next to this 13 year old girl that is living out of her journal, but I notice she takes breaks from narrating her life to look at me. God knows what that girl was writing. So we arrive and we get my luggage and my mom's hasn't arrived yet, while she is yelling at baggage people, I decided to check in with unemployment and she starts calling me while I am on the phone. She needs the tag on my suitcase to help locate hers. I have hang up with them to get her the tag. We get her suit case after another 20 minute delay and we are off to get the rental car. We get in the car and she takes off before we even figure out where we are and where we are going. So we leave aimlessly, because she says we have to get on the road. I pull out the GPS and set it up to take us to Niagara Falls. She says I am done now and I can go to sleep. So I call Unemployment back. She has less patience than a flea and she turns earlier than she should have and starts getting upset with me and I am currently getting threatened by the state of Florida in case I don't follow procedure. It was not pretty. So were are on the right track and my mother who doesn't drink all the sudden says she needs a drink and I am pushing her towards drinking...great. We get to the falls and I am not overwhelmed with awe. Mom starts telling me there are ions in the air that will make me happy...I am still waiting. I start cracking jokes like "fight the ions" or "Damn ions are getting to me"; but I don't think they are appreciated. Anyways, we do the maid of the Mist and the lazy man's Cave of the Winds. We are off to Canada. We get to border patrol and after all that we have been to get my passport; they don't even look at it. Mom was so not even happy. Where were her ions now? Apparently, she is upset because she wanted to be frisked by a mountie...like mother, like daughter.

We make it to our hotel and it is awesome! It has a miniature golf course and it is close to a mall. So it is perfect, basically.
